For the second year in a row, Ticket Chocolate has been selected as one of the top chocolatiers in America by the prestigious International Chocolate Salon in San Francisco, earning a 6-Star Grand Master Award. Last year, in 2016, Ticket Chocolate won their first 6 – Star Grand Master Award. The annual awards are given based on scores awarded during competitions throughout the year at various salons around the country. The panel of judges who vote in these International Chocolate Salons are notable food & lifestyle experts, local chefs and national & regional magazine, blog & newspaper editors.
This second win helps solidify the reputation of Ticket Chocolate as serious chocolate connoisseurs with a mission to introduce their couverture Belgian chocolate confections to customers and businesses throughout the country. “We’ve been fortunate to have our Ticket Sticks (hot chocolate on a stick) featured in Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie stores, Terrain and hundreds of gift shops across the country. Now we want to promote the other handcrafted specialty chocolate products and gift items that we are creating in the Ticket Kitchen,” said owner Tyler Geertsen. Ticket Chocolate had the opportunity to do just that recently at the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco in late January, showcasing not only their hot chocolate sticks but their other award-winning artisan products like their chocolate bars and S’mores Kits.
