- Stop by and say hello and meet your local Loomis small businesses!
Happy Road Farm is small, organic flower farm in Loomis, that Lisa started a year ago. They grow heirloom flowers with love to sell at local farmers’ markets and through their CSA program. A CSA is a community supported agriculture, where a customer buys a share (prepaid) of the farm’s yield, in Happy Road Farm’s case, flowers, and the goods are delivered when ready. The money helps the farm buy supplies like soil and seeds during the downtime winter season. Marc and Lisa Thibodeau own the farm, which is essentially their backyard and enjoy supporting the local community.
You can purchase their spring CSA for either 4 or 6 weeks for $15.00 a week plus a delivery fee. The farmers deliver a lush bouquet of whatever flowers are most beautiful that week! If you are interested in purchasing one of these spring CSAs, you can call (916.201.3151) or email Lisa ([email protected]) and enjoy weeks of unique and locally grown bouquets!
And don’t forget, we’ll see you next week at our Valentine’s Pop-up where you can pick up delicious chocolate confections and some farm-fresh flowers for your loved one or a friend! And you can see even more flowers and chocolates by visiting our Instagram accounts: @happyroadfarm or @ticketchocolate.
